I don't usually say much about the outside world here in my blog but really the media has gone crazy! Since does a cult pastor down in the Florida speak for any of us. I know he does not speak for me and he should not even get a second glance. I thought that the teaching of Christ say something about treating others as you would like to be treated. This is what is wrong with society these days. We do not even follow our own teachings. I find it disgusting that the media and the world is watching this idiot in Florida. Sure there is free speech but that does not mean we have to listen and when the media puts it on as the first thing on all the newscasts...... We are forced to watch and listen. I have been turning it off.   Now I hear that he is being asked to be an consultant who will be speaking to Muslim representatives who are working at putting a Mosque near the site in NYC.  Why should his opinion even be considered. Time seems to be one of those things that we all just cant hold on to. My time is so full lately with the start of the radio station that I don't even realize that I have missed several days writing my thoughts down in this blog. My apologies. Are you wondering what has been happening in my life lately? Well, I am can you fill me in. I did want to comment on something that is bothering me a little. I guess you would call it gossip but I just call it talking about other people. I don't like to do it and I find it just awful. I try not to do it. It is not easy. Sometimes we don't even notice that we are doing it. We think we are just keeping up with the times. I heard something the other day about someone I know and I really found it inappropriate to tell anyone. The other part is I don't believe that what was said is true and when it was said there was no way of knowing if it was true. Hello, things are so crazy lately, my life is so busy and full. It has been wonderful. Sunday's are a great day to relax and BBQ a nice american cheeseburger and some chips with Koolaide! Hi and Good morning! I know some of you have missed me. Sorry. I have not had a computer for about a week. I got a new old one but it does not work with facebook or blogger so I have not been able to post. I am sorry I got it as it does not really work for what I need it for. I will have to save up some money to buy a apple laptop or just a really good dell. Anyways, have you been wondering what is going on in my life? it has been wonderful. I have been on vacation since last Wednesday in NJ with my family. My grandmother turned 90, bless her soul and she is still sharp as a tack! She amazes me every time I speak with her. Yesterday, we went to Atlantic City and she won enough so she came back with what she went with. Every time I go with her, she wins or breaks even. I just loose! OK, I don't expect to win but once would be nice. I so enjoy spending time with her, she makes me feel so good. She does have her opinions though and is not afraid to tell you. Do forget to treat yourself like the special person you are! Plan a special dinner like we do every once an while or plan something every night! Tonight's dinner is Filet Minon and Shrimp with fresh cut french fries and delicious veggies! I feel like I am at a restaurant but I get to sit in my recliner and relax with the family while I eat some of the best food ever! Remember enjoy the little things.

I spent the day working at the radio station and meeting some wonderful people. I practiced talking on the radio with Ann Epner. I did most of the talking but it was a lot of fun. I really enjoy people. Ann will be hosting a Roxbury Arts Group show on Monday and Friday. Things are so much fun over at the station. I have been having a blast. I am learning so much about how radio works. I am so excited to be involved at this stage. I feel like I have started a whole new life. I wish I could dump the old one meaning that old job! Oh, gosh, it is like a haunting now. Just a few days a week. I really wish it would just go away. I have other things on my plate now. I am looking at other ways to earn money. any one have ideas? I guess I will have to apply for jobs around here but I really just want to find a way to pay my way while doing what I love to do! There must be a way to do it. Things are great! now I just have to pay for them. LOL

Here is a sandwich that really hits the spot. Two pieces of thick toast Chicken cutlet grilled with oregeno and oil, sliced thin Tomatoes Lettuces mozzerella cheese slices basil pesto Put all in between the slices and eat a way! This is a light and tasty sandwich which can be heated or served cold. I love this! Enjoy.
